Looking for work in a tight job market is a difficult process. Many job searches can take 6-8 months or longer, even when one is spending 35-40 hours a week searching for work. This can be hard on a person emotionally, physically and financially. As a close friend, partner or family member, watching someone you care about move through the job search process might make you feel a little helpless.
