The Authentic Professional: Redefining Workplace Culture Norms

How can an individual be their authentic self while also conforming to the “fit” of a particular company? The United States is famed as a diverse melting pot, yet the traditional professional mold seems to primarily cater to a specific segment of our population. Acknowledging and minimizing implicit bias in hiring practices and at work is essential to preventing a homogenized workplace. Together, let us challenge and redefine the norms of an “authentic professional.”
