Tom Colosimo

Tom is a reputable and sought-after career architect and strategist with over 15 years in the career education/development field. He has a strong reputation as a knowledgeable professional in the areas of career development, networking for career and job success as well as resume content and format, use of LinkedIn, and interviewing skills. Mr. Colosimo has presented at numerous signature events within various state chapters of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Institute of Supply Chain Management (ISM) as well as many community organizations. Currently, he is a career consultant with Augsburg University, Prime Digital Academy, the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and St. Paul College. He also engages with many Twin Cities high schools through Best Prep, Fraser and Junior Achievement with focus on AVID, DECA and BPA competition programs. Tom worked at the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis within the Graduate Business Career Services Center – Opus College for 8 years. Prior to that, Tom worked in the recruiting industry for 6 years and over 25 years within corporate finance and accounting positions from small to Fortune 500 entities. Tom has been Treasurer for the Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA) since 2013 and lives with his wife Barb in St. Paul.
