										Kim Bartels provides one-on-one leadership and career coaching to leaders and individual contributors in higher education, as well as in corporate and nonprofit settings. She founded her coaching practice in 2006, and she currently does business as Happier Mondays Coaching. Kim’s goal is to help her clients feel more joy, fulfillment, and well-being at work and in their other life pursuits. Kim earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where her training focused on career counseling, psychotherapy, assessment, research, and teaching. She completed her B.S. in Psychology, with minors in Statistics and Mathematics, at Iowa State University. Earlier in her career, Dr. Bartels worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychology, a Staff Psychologist, and a Selection Assessment Consultant. Kim lives in the Twin Cities with her spouse Eric, and they enjoy frequent visits with their two adult daughters. Kim enjoys being an MCDA Member (on and off since 2002), serving as an MCDA Mentor over the years, and most recently joining the Board.
