Professional Development Institutes (PDI)
Two pre-conference Professional Development Institutes (PDIs) — both of them full-day workshops (8:30 am – 4:00 pm) — will be offered on Thursday, April 22. The two choices are:
- 360Reach Personal Branding Assessment Certification
- Dependable Strengths Assessment
If you are attending the Professional Development Institutes, you must pick one of the two choices because they run concurrently (i.e., you can’t attend both).

Dependable Strengths Assessment
with Carmen Croonquist and Patty Bales

“Because you’re unique, there’s something
you are better at than anybody else.”
- Bernard Haldane,
founder of the Dependable Strengths Articulation Process (DSAP)
The primary goal of the DSAP is to help individuals realize their potential for excellence and improve the quality of their lives through meaningful work. The DSAP is a peer-assisted group approach that is based on story-telling. Through this facilitated process, participants uncover their “Dependable Strengths” – the core strengths that represent a person’s best and personally most satisfying work. Participants reflect on their experiences in life, identify their patterns of strengths, and learn how to talk about their Dependable Strengths in ways that demonstrate their value to an organization or a community.
