Navigating Transitions by Turning to One Another

What would the world be like if we turned to one another with an intent to understand each others’ perspectives? In this charged and difficult climate, we are experiencing many forms of misunderstandings and miscommunications. These arise from cultural misunderstandings, lack of resources, and incredibly polarized opinions, just to name a few, making change extremely difficult.

As our role as career development professionals, we not only provide specific tools and resources, we strive to restore hope and invest in our clients’ and students’ future. This round table examines Margaret Wheatley’s book, Turning to One Another, which provides a framework for us to have effective conversations by introducing us to the concept of turning to one another, pausing and reflecting, and initiating meaningful conversations.

It is our hope that you will join us having read Turning to One Another. Let’s start this journey together by turning to one another and utilizing the power of conversation to change our world.
