MCDA Listserv
The MCDA LISTSERV, “topica,” is an e-mail group that MCDA members use to share career development ideas, research and tips, and to ask questions of their colleagues. It’s also used to provide information about upcoming MCDA events and related events of potential interest to MCDA members.
A LISTSERV is, essentially, an electronic version of a face-to-face meeting of many professionals. Once you become part of the MCDA LISTSERV (by subscribing to Topica via e-mail, using the directions below), you will receive all of the messages that members send to the LISTSERV’s e-mail address. The result is an ongoing discussion, via e-mail, on whatever topics members are posting to the LISTSERV. To learn more, read [LISTSERV Tips and Tricks].
To subscribe to the MCDA Listserv, send a blank e-mail message to:
Soon after you’ve sent this message, you’ll receive a “welcome” message for the MCDA Listserv, and then you’ll start receiving all of the e-mail messages that people post to Topica, one message at a time.
You can change your LISTSERV settings so that you receive each day’s messages in one combined, or “digest” message, instead of one individual message at a time. To switch your LISTSERV settings to “digest,” just send a blank e-mail message to:

Finally, whenever you’d like to send a message to all the members of the MCDA LISTSERV, simply type your e-mail as you usually would, then send it to:
Note to current member of the LISTSERV whose e-mail address has changed: You’ll need to resubscribe — with your new e-mail address — following the directions above. Otherwise the LISTSERV’s postings will continue to go to your old e-mail address.
