As I mentioned on Bridget's CaringBridge site a couple weeks ago, I found her smile and warm voice to be very calming and reassuring as I was about to present a breakout session two years ago. As my breakout session hostess, she had a strong yet gentle spirit which lit up the room. She will be greatly missed!

When I joined the MCDA Board of Trustees last fall, Bridget was one of the first experienced board members to welcome me and make me feel right at home. Although I did not know Bridget for long, I will always remember her beautiful way of being in the world, invested in being true to herself and to others' well-being and development.

With Carmen's words of greetig 'The Spring' and Ann Strongs prose of being in our authentic space, I offer the words of the poet William Henry Davies:

What is this life so full of care
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, in broad dayligfht,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

All for now,
